The white powder-coated exterior is resistant to peeling and chipping since it is sturdy. With foamed-in-place polyurethane insulation, cold air stays inside the cabinet.

Merchandise is kept cold at temperatures between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit using a capillary tube refrigeration system that uses the ecologically benign R290 hydrocarbon refrigerant. The condensing unit is located on the bottom, allowing for easy maintenance and the creation of a no-stoop shelf that keeps products visible. Because the fan motors in the evaporator and condenser transport a constant amount of air, energy consumption is lowered and less heat is created. To prevent corrosion, the evaporator is covered with epoxy.

After the compressor is turned on, the fan motor blows in reverse for 20 seconds to clear the condensing coil of debris and dirt.
