The True TRCB-82-84 chef base includes a one-piece stainless steel top with a drip-resistant edge to catch spills and can support up to 1,084 pounds. Supplies and equipment can be stored on top, next to the ingredients in the drawers. Staff members can move left and right without having to avoid handles because the drawer handles are recessed. The left drawers can accommodate three full-size pans, while the right drawers can contain two full-size food pans and are designed to hold cool items.

With solid polyurethane foam and gaskets surrounding the frame, each sturdy drawer keeps cold air in. Operators can regulate the temperature between 33 and 38 degrees Fahrenheit inside the True TRCB-82-84 chef base, and these frigid temperatures are produced as R134A refrigerant passes through the capillary tubes. A large, self-lubricating evaporator fan circulates cold air throughout the cabinet, while the internal temperature is displayed on the exterior digital display. Cooling components are self-contained and slide out from the side for easy service access.
